'tis another day..
i'm so bored. i dunno how many times i've repeated tt to myself and to the other poor souls tt have had to put with it. haha but i noe that once sch starts, i'm gonna complain tt there aren't enough hols. but hey we're only human and it's human to not feel content all the time. give me a call if u can truly tell me u're contented with ur life. and give me a call onli when u're sure u're not lying to urself.
i finished three things in two days. quite an achievement if i muz say so myself. haha. first, i finished a book by an unknown author - it was some bk i stumbled upon when i was shuffling thru the many shelves at the sembawang community lib one day. wait let me check out the author - it's the least i can do aftr laughing thru her (i'm sure it's a lady though) fantastically written bk. Karen Kendall. ring a bell? not sure tt it would to anyone out there, as compared to edgar allen poe and dean koontz and sidney sheldon. but she's a gd author. gonna check out more of her bks aftr the one i read ('someone like him'). reading of romance novels is becoming a rather rare indulgence for me, i muz say. i haven't read most of nora roberts bks, except one with some jd robb thingy. it was reli an investigation bk, so i figured tt doesn't count as smth romantic unless u're reli into blood and gore.
secondly i finished my story. my last chapter of a story on fanfiction. it's unfair. i'm putting in more effort for another story but the reviews (as in comments left behind by nice readers) skyrocket for the previous story (the one i'm done with now) and not the one i truly like. weird. and strange. but oh well, i'll juz have to sit it out and wait. if u dunno wat i'm toking abt, nvm and dun ask further. let's juz keep it at tt, then. :)
the third task i've finished is a sidney sheldon bk. i'm sure u've heard of her. haha. it's called 'the sky is falling' and it's reli reli gd. i didn't put it down the moment i started reading. well, technically, i only put it down to have lunch, but other than tt i read it non-stop. it's that gd. so if u swing by the lib, pick it up if u can. trust me, u wun regret it.
if u're wondering y i'm not reading any dean koontz bks, it's becos i'm pretty much thru with all of them, except the few titles i'm not reli interested in. so now i'm sorta 'attacking' sidney sheldon bks which are equally gd, if not better. and i wanna try reading bks by this certain author, which i've heard of but haven't seen of. sophie kinsella. ever heard of her? i heard her stories're reli funny and they concentrate on the life of a shopaholic i think. haha it might juz be interesting. the strange thing is tt i can nvr seem to find her bks on the lib shelves (i haven't tried the national lib yet, though). i checked it out on the catalogue and i realized tt they're ALL on loan. and some of the borrowers are way due. irritating. pls, juz return ur bks on time and there wun be any prob alr, rite??
oh well, gg out for dinner with my family soon. signing off and gg back to that absolutely boring life tt's unfortunately mine.
I NEED SOME DRAMA IN MY LIFE.
P.S. to whoever is listening to my pleas, it'll be nice to take note of some korean dramas as guidelines.
