i wanna watch ratatouille~~~ but i need to catch up on work. seriously lagging. during taxation class yst i was lost beyond lost. :S haiz. so now i'm reading up on 'deductions' and hopefully can finish those 60 pages by today. aftr that i still need to do my accounting tutorial. and therefore need to go thru tht darn textbk.

aftr that still have to read chapters 2 and 7 of the other accounting textbk. but i dun think i'll be able to do that till the wkend. haiz. i'd be lucky if i can finish my accounting tutorial. some more this coming sat got hall DnD la. so silly. then today i think i need to go help do the doorgifts. to help the programmers. i was supposed to go yst, but i totally forgot abt it. shit. and the thing is, today i might have lunch with han liang and i dun wanna miss it cos he's hardly in singapore and he'll be going back sooner than i'll knw it. haiz.

oh wells, no pt complaining. gg to start on my taxation now. less procrastinating and less dragging may lead to more fun and more relaxation aftr all my work is done (if there's even enough time for tht). :S

i'm supposed to be studying now. at least, i'm supposed to be doing my accounting tutorial. but i can't concentrate. i've had two bad nights in a row and i dun suppose this has ever happened. so i'm getting a little jumpy and more than a little irritated with everyone, even myself. so, sorry to those pple i've snapped at so far. but some of u reli deserve it, btw.

think i need to get a gd night's rest. thank gdness my accounting tutorial is onli on friday so at least aftr today i'll still have wed and thurs to work on it in a better mood (hopefully). and thank gdness i did my co law tutorial 3 yst night, cos tutorial's earli tmr morning. left one more question to that so i think i should have that amt of energy to write smth down ltr. but oh no~ i need to review my tax stuff. so tired~~~

i've been a naughty, naughty girl.

went shopping with naf today. a short 2 hours and the damage was substantial. not giving tuition now, u c. therefore, it is difficult to sustain that high level of spending anymore~~ argh~~ (not tht the tuition money was anything more than peanuts in the first place - but still!) haiz. bought two new shirts today and one new pair of shoes~~ i swear, shoes will be the ultimate downfall of all women. haha.

my mum'll surely scream at me for buying stuff again. =( so better keep some of the stuff in hall and dun wear it/bring it home until i'm sure she's in an undefeatably gd mood. muahaha. the wicked schemes up one's sleeves.

stupid mosquitos. i'll kill them all. it's like a free buffet for them everytime i appear in their vicinity or territory la. and the other night my fren and i were standing guard ouside the function hall for DnD registration, my fren got bitten like, once or twice. me? more than ten times, i should think. and counting the extra ten more i got today, i've got a wonderful figure of 20. great. just great.

but oh wells, i got my shoes. stuff at bugis are quite cheap - except the bags. they're like 30 - 50 plus. whew. anw i hope my aunt will buy a bag back from america. she's over there now, overseeing her daughter's wedding. heh.

haiz. gotta start studying and doing tutorials and reading le. xianz... luckily tmr's class is late. like, 2.30pm. whew. and onli one lesson some more.

aiya back in hall. decided to come back to hall today (sun evening) aftr all, instead of waking up super earli and arriving one hr earlier for class the next day. haha. need to catch up on taxation - muz finish up at least chap 2 of the textbk. but my eyes super tired lor. even though i've gone thru the notes alr and pretty much understand the concepts (i think and hope), i think reading the textbk will most prob be useful, too. aftr all, it's called the 'master tax guide'. haha but lks and names can be deceiving, i guess.

oooooh~ i've finally finished reading 'harry potter and the deathly hallows'!! but shan't say anything abt it, so dun worry, for those who havent finished reading it yet. (though i doubt it. haha) anw, all i can say is tht it's a gd bk and it solves a lot of mysteries and surprisingly (mb i havent discovered it/them yet), there are no flaws or loopholes.. yet. haha but it's gd, though i wish the ending abt malfoy could be changed. hint: i want him all for myself!!

haha cos usually i'll be back in hall by now. but hey, i decided to see how it'll go tmr, taking the early train tmr and getting to sch by my first and only lesson of the day - taxation - at 10.30am in the morning. shit, y do i haf the feeling tht i'll be yawning during the whole lesson tmr, and trying to stay awake? bleah.

so i'll probably be experiencing wht my frenz (those not staying in halls) do on the mornings when they haf lessons. i juz hate to think of the jam in the buses and trains - i can alr imagine the wait for 179 stretching all the way to the MRT station. and for those who knw, yeah it's a loooooong way btwn the MRT station and the bus stop for 179.

yay i'm finally done reading my company law textbk!! but it took like, 2 days or more? xianz. but at least i'm done with it. now.. moving on to the tutorial. arghz. looks ok (aftr reading it thru), but it lks like a lot of things to write. think i'm juz gonna list out the main pts and not the whole sentences. damn, i'm getting hungry le. ate an early dinner at 5.30pm. gotta stop doing tht. if i keep eating supper like this, i'm bound to put on 50kg.

but i'm hungry. mb shld eat bread. muz go buy those butter rolls tht ntuc has. i love those cute looking buns. haha.

ooo went to this sch bazaar today with my fren and i bought 4 pairs of earrings for myself~~ all at $5 onli lor.. though i doubt they'll last. haha now i haf on earrings tht look like cakes. haha ooo so my ears lk edible. ok tht sounded gross. haha. oh then i bought a pair of earrings for my mummy~ becos her bd coming up soon. though it's in mid sept la. haha but i decided to give it to her earli. either that or i'll make a card so tht it'll come just in time for her bd. :) her earrings and the red velvet box came up to a total of 16 bucks lei. (so much more than mine - hehe but it's all for my mummy~~ so it's okie. :))

then my fren and i bought a pair of keychains together. it comes in a pair and it lks reli sweet. it has our names on it too. :) but i dun think i'll hang it anywhere - so scared tht it'll break. haha we bought it $6 for both, so i can't expect much quality frm it either. but it juz lks so sweet, esp when put together. :)

ok i'm gg to eat cup noodles alr. yes it's unhealthy and fattening yada yada yada. but it's ok, i'm onli eating in like, once in a while. the last time i ate it shld be before FOC lor. which means july lei.. now alr gg to be mid-aug lor..

speaking of which, i need to sms amanda and tell her abt my passport expiry date so she can fill it in for me. then we can go bintan together~~ but i'm scared tht if the response for the trip ain't too gd, they might cancel the thing altogether. better go ask si yang (the organiser) how the response is. :)

bought my textbooks today, but left my tax one out first. cos not sure whether i truly need it. chi loong (john's fren) bought one so we're testing it out first. haha anw the exam is closed book, so i not sure if i'll need the textbook at all. hmmm but i'm so happy tht i bought my company law book! i look forward to it.. at least more than the accting textbook, which looks.. downright boring la. haha so yay! i can read smth over the wkend. tht is, if i dun get too caught up with other stuff. u knw, like nick toons. like, fairly odd parents. hahahaa. oh btw still got pri 6 class outing this sat evening lor. omg pri 6. tht was like.. eons ago.

yeah so i'll need to prepare and go at abt 6.15pm. which leaves me a little bit more than an hour. *gulps* (again)

been slacking the whole day lor. yst played card games with julian and the rest till like, 4am? haha. then woke up at 11 plus. went back to take a nap again after lunch and woke up at 4.45pm. which has led me till now.

haiz. all righty, better start. at least i can do my hg801 readings on the train and leave the AA102 tutorial till either tmr or tonight, after the dinner. since the latter option seems unlikely, i think i'll do it tmr. haha. anw there're no tutorial sessions for first wk, so i hopefully will be able to catch up before next wk. :) *fingers crossed*

P.S. still trying to add AB228A into my timetable. oh wells. think i shall give up hope and do it next sem. luckily it's only for 6 wks. but i heard next sem's going to be tougher. :S

sch's supposed to start today. but somehow (dunno y) the teacher's not in today, so her next lesson with us will onli be on wed. so my next lesson will be tmr, 2.30pm. tht's unless i get my ab228a, which currently is giving me a huge headache. cos if i take it this sem, i'll be taking it with the rest of my frenz, though there's no hurry to complete it next sem. it'll be done in a span of 6 wks, so technically it doesnt reli matter if i do it this or next sem, juz as long as i do it, u c. but of cos, once again, it's my fear of doing things alone tht makes me wanna get tht elective. but as my fren says, add/drop for ntu biz/acct is pretty ptless. vacancies are forever zero. need to pray some more, i guess.

but lking on the bright side, i've got one day off and i've got 2 interesting-sounding electives. though i'm a bit worried, cos both of them are from HSS. and knowing HSS courses, they involve lots and lots of readings. which somehow i dun reli like. then again, i downloaded one of the elective's notes and it sounds pretty darn interesting. it's abt how animals communicate. kinda like dr. dolittle, huh? haha pretty cool, i reckon. but first class is on wed evening, so we'll c how it goes.

and for someone who doesn't like gg to classes alone or in fact, doing anything alone, i'm taking both of my electives alone. hmmm. the rest of my core classes i'm either taking it with victoria or john, so it shld be ok.. i hope.

i checked my curriculum structure and so far, i'm following it exactly, module by module. so i shld be on the rite track, if not accelerated. oh wells. we'll juz c how it goes. hopefully tmr i get to add tht stupid sub and get it over with. :S

ltr got hall bash. so boring. but my fren asked me to go. since it doesnt lk like i get to add the subject by today, and therefore, i wun haf a morning class tmr, i might as well go. i have nth to do anw.

hmmm oh btw, i bought a new orange blouse today. it's pretty nice. haha i somehow love buying clothes now. i used to hate it when i was younger. seems like i'm all grown up.

finally.

the finale of FOC has come and gone. the last activity wasn't too bad, though june and i were pretty much running all over the place, cos we were 'welfare' and we needed to take care of the food and stuff.

but aftr a while, once we got to sit down together and watch freshies have fun, it wasn't too bad. so therefore, a bbq wasn't such a bad idea aftr all, despite all the work.

aiya, sch starting soon le. damn xian. need to drop one elective even though i got two of it onli. cos one is my hss elec (language puzzle - don't ask me, i don't really knw wht it's abt. juz heard frm my senior tht it's kinda fun and interesting). so i can't afford to drop tht. but the other one i figured would be quite hard. german. haha so i decided to drop german and try for forensic science. tht'll be way cool. i wanted to take tht last yr, but there's onli one slot for every yr, not sem. so this yr i'm gonna try again. wonder how i got german when i put forensic as my preferred choice during registration. screwed up sys, as usual, i suppose.

hm oh yeah n i need to take ab228a. wanna clear tht first before moving onto next sem.

shit. gotta work doubly hard this sem to pull my gpa further up, or else i'm so screwed.

and guess wht? aftr foc there's STILL paperwork to be done. receipts to be claimed blah blah blah.

oh wells, at least today i slept in till ten. can u believe it? 10. these few days i've been slping at 3am and waking up at 7-8am. and on one of those days i slept for 1 and a half hours onli. damn shagged, man.

but it was all in good fun. and i miss working with my committee, they're a fun bunch of people. can be serious and argumentative at times, but most of the times they're really there to help each and every one out.
