'tis another day..
hiya peeps~ it's a thursday of the second wk of sch. not too bad, i suppose. studying takes a little bit more effort since i've been away frm bks for gdness noes how long. but i guess it'll be worse for the guys, ain't it? they've been away frm bks for an even longer period of time. but oh wells. the modules i'm currently studying are:
AB103 - Statistical and Quantitative Methods
AB105 - Organizational Behaviour and Design
AB106 - Principles of Economics
AB112 - Marketing
AB114 - Communication Management Fundamentals
tell me if it sounds boring. cos i certainly think so. haha but it's all rite. i think i felt much better than when i first took the modules, when i didn't understand anything of them. haha but now tt i understand a little bit more of the chapters, i guess it ain't so bad aftr all. anw i haf to learn how to like it ma.. i'll be taking it for life. :S
woke up earli morn today at 7.15am. actualli, tt's the time i need to wake up at almost everyday, except for monday, when i haf my off day frm sch. (yay!) so lessons start at 0830 every tues, wed and fri. and wat's worse is tt all the lessons are super long la~~~ i mean, 2 hours per lesson?? too much. definitely too much. didn't they hear tt the longest concentration period of an average human being is only abt 45 min? well, i guess they think (or rather, hope) tt we're not juz average human beings, now tt we're in uni. and it doesnt exactly help tt the tutors are essentially boring. esp the stats one. a boring tutor with a boring module. perfect match. bleah.
on the brighter side of life, i like uni. reli. it's so much more.. free, i suppose. it gives me the freedom to do a lot more things i didn't usually do in the past. like.. stay up suuuper late in the night and still wake up earli in the morn for lessons (wonder if tt's a gd thing or not - my eye bags are allllllll coming out. heh). but most imptly, i guess uni life reli is more abt the frenz and pple u noe here. or else, it's rather hard to survive in sch, i think. i'm not tt close to those pple in my tutorial grps, but rather closer to those peeps in blk 69, hall 15. (whoosh jaggers rocks!)
speaking of which, i was juuuuust elected block rep of blk 69. haha. altogether there are 4 block reps frm each blk, frm blk 69 to 72 of hall15. hm i dunno how i feel lei, reli. the responsibility i'm abt to take on once i step out of my bedroom door ltr, in abt 15 min time at 0830 is kinda scary. but i can deal with it. aftr all, i'm not alone ma. :) hm next yr i'm prob gonna run for grp leader (GL), for FOC (freshmen orientation camp) 2007. either a GL or a SA (senior attached), with the latter having less responsibilities to handle lor. but i think being a GL is essentially more fun lei. and freshies (like us) bond more with the GLs rather than the SAs. hm ltr need to meet the rest of the block reps for some stuff to settle aftr yst's block supper (an event where everyone frm the blk comes down to the lounge for supper. at 9pm - which is kinda dumb, i think). there's gonna be another block supper 2 mths frm now. the new block reps are supposed to prepare it then. haha any suggestions, anyone? :)
hm, so yeah. life ain't tt bad. :)
