'tis another day..
oook. everything's still in korean. uh-huh. dunno wht's gg on.
speaking of korean, i accidentally stumbled upon my collection of korean dramas in my laptop. i put them in like, at the start of last semester, which means, aug 2007. haha but i didnt realize they were there until recently - i had totally forgotten abt them. and they take up so much space, i need to delete them before my comp hard disk crashes. haha so now i'm trying to watch all of them so tht they wun go to 'waste', u c.
now i'm watching this show called 'tian guo de shu' (some tree in heaven thingy la - by direct translation). haha it's actualli quite weird to stomach initially. nth gross. it's juz tht it's abt a guy and girl getting together to be step-siblings cos the guy's father married the girl's mother. get it? so anws, as typical as all these shows can get (dun ask me y i'm still watching such shows since they're so typical), these two fall in love. and well.. it's kinda weird cos it's like.. bro and sis? hello?? but then again, seeing as the guy is, u knw, c-u-t-e (haha), i realized tht nth much is wrong la. anw they're not related by blood wht. it's juz tht pple arnd them will lk at them differently and tht they'll be subjected to judgement etc etc. so it's a simple qn (as usual) of whether love can conquer all.
relationships - be it with ur father, mother, boyfriend, girlfriend, friends etc, are so bloody hard to maintain. there are many things that can help boost relationships, like sharing secrets (and of cos, in turn having those secrets kept wherever they are). but there are even more things that can destroy relationships.
one such factor would be the infamous time. time slides away so fast when u're spending the time with someone u like or love (like, duh). but the problem comes when time comes between you two. i guess wht i mean is, a lot of break downs occur becos too much time has occurred without much interaction from both parties. then something goes missing, juz tht neither party knows wht it is. and somehow tht missing element goes to lead to bigger issues and problems.
it's like having a long-distance relationship. i knw tht modern tech is now fantastic. but come on, we're human beings, not robots. i dun believe tht two pple can get by juz as fine without physical interaction. and i'm talking abt the BASIC physical interaction, thk u v much. it's like those normal.. hugs, kisses, pats on the back - basic reassurances. without those, skype or any other such comm tools will juz be.. comm tools. they wun be the communication tht either party needs.
get wht i mean? think i'm babbling.
i'm so bored. i haven't even done my CV yet. procrastinating like nobody's biz. but hey, it IS nobody's biz. hahaha :P
